About Cruz Speakman 

 
Cruz Speakman is a determined 12 year old boy whose dream is to have a career in motorsport. Cruz has shown real skill from an early age when he first hit the track at the age of 5. Since 2012 Cruz has entered various competitions throughout Spain and the UK showing real talent, gaining numerous podium finishes. In 2015 Cruz participated in his first championship, the “Valenciana Championship”. Cruz was the youngest competitor in his category and secured podium finishes and finished third place in the championship. In 2017 Cruz’s season ended with coming 2nd in the Spanish championship. In 2018 we made the bold move of relocating back to the UK to give Cruz a chance to race against the best of the best. Cruz has spent the 2018 season learning a new engine and chassis and gaining experience on the UK circuits. 2019 started off with a bang with Cruz being back in the podium in the first race of the season and even though we had to miss the last race of the season Cruz managed to finish 11th out of 60 drivers in the British title which we are really proud of as the drivers Cruz was up against have been driving in this engine and on these circuits since they were 5 years old.
In the Autumn of 2019 we decided to make the move up to the Mini Max category where his talent has already shone through by winning the Autumn cup in December so we are really excited for things to come this year.
As Cruz continues to show real talent and determination in this sport, consistently showing podium finishes it is our intention to support Cruz to continue to compete and strengthen his already bright career.
It’s Cruz’s ambition in 2020 to take his racing to a higher level by entering the British MSA Rotax Championship and the British MSA IAME Championship which are both televised on Sky TV and streamed across the world, they have approximately 500 participants and a great following in the world of motorsport and bring in participants and spectators from around the world. We will also be supporting our local club by taking part in monthly club meeting at our local track of Glan-y-Gors, Cerrig-y-drudion
We also hope to participate in the Euro Series which is held over 5 different countries in Europe and consists of 5 televised races throughout the year. All events are published in a range of motorsport magazines, regional newspapers and all have a great following on social media. A host of famous Formula One drivers including Hamilton, Button, Norris and Verstappen to name a few came through these championships and Cruz has been told by various teams that he has what it takes to compete at top level.
